The Pierre Marques year after year foreverby Yahoo | 2009-03-01 22:03:55 |

We have been going to the Pierre for 16 years now. In terms of the "regulars" we are newcomers. This is a very unique resort that the same people come to year after year for months at a time. They have traveled the world extensively but still come back to the Pierre. THis is our home away from home as we are personally greated by the hotel management and staff every single time we arrive. You couldn't ask for a more peaceful, quiet resort to relax at. The beautiful breeze and the sounds of the ocean lull you off to frequent siestas. The grounds are breathtalkingly beautiful and the sounds of the birds makes you feel like you are in paradise. The staff bends over backwards to try and fulfill your every wish and are literally the friendliest most sincere people you will meet anywhere you may travel. If you should tire of the peacefulness either a short walk down the beach or a quick ride on the shuttle will bring you to the sister hotel the Acapulco Princess. Here will you will find a bit more hustle and bustle along with a bit more activity, music and beach vendors. The restaurants here are also part of the meal plan so you can have different choices for dining. A perfect compliment to the quiet of the Pierre. The Mariachi play every night and it is beautiful to hear and see them. A quiet band plays right by the ocean at the Pierre where you can sit, enjoy a bite to eat or a drink and even dance under the moonlight. The resort is on Revolvcadero Beach far away from the craziness of downtown Acapulco and Condesa Beach. You are able to horseback ride, boogey board, jetski and even ride a four wheeler on the beach. Beautiful sunrise and walk on a quiet beach. Tranquility at every meal. Plenty of entertainment. The view of the mountains and the sunsets are so unbelievable there is nothing lacking. We have the same villa with a private upstairs terrace at the very end of the property each year. The ultimate in romantic atmosphere and a feeling of being the only people at the resort. The pools are uncrowded and the gym is usually empty. A great gym, lots of equipment. Tennis courts, golf courses, its got it all. This is absolutely the best place we have ever gone to refresh replenish and revitalize ourselves. We along with all of the many friends we have made over the years always make our reservations for the following year before we even end our stay there. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone but yet we like to keep the secret to ourselves. Charm, charm and more charm. We all call it our Paridiso on Earth and no matter how long we stay (only two weeks but working up to three week stay) we aren't ready to leave. If you give this resort a try you will never want to go anywhere else again. One last thing each and every day is like the day before weather wise - sunny without a cloud in the sky and nice and hot. We count down the days until we can once again return to the Pierre

Absolute Heavenby Yahoo | 2007-01-05 23:22:11 |

The Pierre is our home away from home. My husband and I have been going there at least twice a year for the past 12 years. The staff is the absolute best in the world. The service could not be any better! They are genuine and very accomodating. The hotel is for those who want peace and quiet - a return to the simple life.Simple glamour no hustle and bustle just relaxation at its best. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. Great gym, pools and restaurants. If privacy is what you want the villas are perfect. We call this our little heaven and are among a large group of "regulars" many who have been going every year for over 40 years. Look forward to going back each and every time.

Fun, Fun, Fun!by Yahoo | 2006-04-23 16:15:08 |

This is an amazing hotel. The food is great, especially at The Tabachin (serves food from France and Asia). At La Terraza Restaurant there is a delicious buffet and great ocean and pool views. There are three great swimming pools, plus one small "baby pool". One pool has a very nice water fall. The beach is extremely nice. At the beach you can relax in a Palapa and drink coconut milk, Pina Colada (a pineapple drink) or have a Mexican specialty, peanuts with chilli powder and lime. The ocean is wonderful, although sometimes there are really strong waves. The service is pretty good although in La Terraza sometimes waiters can take a little bit long to bring what you order. The rooms are very nice, in fact almost all of the rooms have been renovated in the past three or four years and this year they have renovated almost all of the villas. The Fairmont Pierre Marques is definitely a hotel that you should go to.

Elegant and relaxing!by Yahoo | 2006-01-05 00:37:47 |

Our family had not had an out of the U.S.vacation until our wonderful trip to the Pierre Marques. We traveled in Feb.and the hotel was not crowded. There was always available lounge chairs by all three pools. We especially enjoyed the smallest of the three pools closest to our room,we were the only three people there most of the time. The food delicious and not "too" Mexican for my husband. The staff friendly too.

Home away from Homeby Yahoo | 2005-05-16 16:49:25 |

My husband and I religiously made the long trip from Long Island to Acapulco every year. We really felt like we were coming home when we pulled up in front of the Pierre Marques. It had everything we needed and then some. It's a great place to just get away - no TV, no loud music. Just peace and quiet. Great food, great drinks, great people.

Quiet and Accomodating in Acapulcoby Yahoo | 2004-08-13 20:06:37 |

Very nice, quiet hotel with two golf courses to play. All Inclusive package was excellent, good food, great drinks. Staff is very accomodating and friendly. Location is great to be outside Acapulco city and bay. Great surf for bodysurfing and boogie board. Clean beach, although the hawkers tend to be a little thick trying to sell. After a while just wave them off and they go on their way. Used the Princess sister hotel facilities often. Have been going here over Thanksgiving for last six years. Very relaxing and no stress vacation.
