My favorite hotel in Acapulco!by Yahoo | 2007-02-14 20:17:27 |

I love the El Cano! We've gone back year after year. Then we did a few cruises and bought a condo in Florida. It's time to go back to this peaceful and wonderful Mexican delight!

Not for Familiesby Yahoo | 2007-01-18 15:41:48 |

The room was nice and the hotel location is good. You could walk to many spots. It is popular with Mexican people as well as Quebecers. We were travelling with our son from January 2nd - 16th and he had a difficult time. Very strict pool rules - no fun allowed. The slightest splash brought glares and pointing from adult guests and this made it difficult for him to enjoy the pool. Maybe this is why there were so few (almost none) children. Front desk service is not up to speed. We will not return to this property.

Popular with people from Mexico City who know their way around. Good acuthentic food. Beds a little hard. suites fantastic and reasonable.

Great Rooms!by Yahoo | 2005-06-09 05:01:46 |

We rented a two-story suite and it was beautiful. The second story had a jacuzzi on the porch. The hotel is located near lots of attractions and the bus picks you up right at the entrance. The staff is friendly but very strict when it comes to following the pool rules. NO shorts or t-shirts, no kid floaties, no using your own towels, no sand toys near the pool! It got kind of annoying having the staff constantly looking in on you to enforce the rules.

I stayed in the El Cano with 10 girls last march. It was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We were there to relax, there were no obnoxious partying kids. beautiful beach and pool!
