Overview

Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful hotels in Acapulco. The facilities resemble a small town built on top of a mountain, which dominates the whole of Acapulco Bay. The most characteristic feature is an excellent restaurant service including restaurants Club La Concha and Restaurante Bellavista, meaning beautiful view. A great attraction of this hotel is its room service as food and drinks are ferried to guests by jeep along narrow and steep streets. Each little cabin has its own swimming pool and sun deck.

Our Honeymoon June 1970..not 2004by Yahoo | 2009-10-25 01:37:46 |

We had private pool;private stock bar;great room service:great view:any kind of food anytime 24/7 brought to our room:our own jeep:discounts everywhere..we stayed there 7 days: saw La Cebrada:rode on JFK's yacht: my wife and I had the best time of our life..nothing to dislike

Loved it so much - I was married there!by Yahoo | 2009-08-06 16:55:31 |

Las Brisas has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend it!!!!!The tradition of staying there for a honeymoon started with my grandma, then my mom and her siblings and then my generation. My husband and I took it one step further - we had our wedding reception there with 82 guests coming in from every part of the US. I have been there probably 6 - 8 times since and it is the most peaceful, beautiful place where you are well taken care. The staff is first rate - the level of the professionalism (particularily the waiters) is unmatched. The little breakfast placed in your cubby hole is such a perfect way to start the day (TIP: If you prefer hot chocolate to coffee just ask for it OR have one of both). The fresh flowers in your private pool are very romantic. Again - highly recommend it and if your thinking about having your wedding/ reception there - go for it!!!! Everyone person who attended said it was the MOST beautiful wedding they had ever attended. (TIP: if you need a Catholic church for the ceremony there is a beautiful church just up the hill which will conduct the ceremony in English).

We'll be back for the spectacular sceneryby Yahoo | 2009-05-04 15:12:21 |

What a unique hotel! Views are beyond belief -- friends say my photos of Acapulco Bay from my room veranda are postcard quality. At first we thought they were the slowest place on earth, but things changed for the better. Hibiscus flowers are placed on surfaces throughout the hotel room. Maid turns down the bed at night. Private pool was relaxing. Restaurant--with views overlooking the Bay--indoors or outdoors, is pricey, but with the view, you don't mind paying a little extra. Photographer comes around to take your picture. A must "to do" is to go to their Beach Club for the day. Wonderful (also pricey) restaurant with roaming quartet, 2 swimming pools, 2 rock wall blocked off swimming areas with bay saltwater coming in with the tides. Pink and white jeeps were at our door within 3 minutes of our phone calls.

Get away from it all.by Yahoo | 2008-05-10 18:29:18 |

The thing I liked the most about Las Brisas was the privacy, here you are on the side of a hill, the way they have the rooms placed every one is private the only noise you here is birds maybe a little traffic from the highway and that's it.If you want a snack mangos, avacados, coconuts, almonds, limes and other tropical fruits hang from trees all over the property. The service was excellent the food was good and there are many restaurants close by.If you like night life this is the place mucho mucho clubs and they stay open all night long.

Only place to stay in Acapulco!!!by Yahoo | 2008-02-23 17:09:05 |

I have stayed at Las Brisas twice and it is wonderful! You feel as if you are in your own private village. The rooms are immaculate, the flowers they float in your private pool everyday, the breakfast they quietly slip into an enclosed pass thru each morning (complementary!) are just a few of the extra touches. You can rent one of their pink and white jeeps to take downtown or just go exploring! I am going their again in May with my 19 year old daughter and can't wait for her to enjoy it as much as I have.

Excellent romantic experienceby Yahoo | 2008-02-02 22:40:59 |

we arrived in october. not high season, but the place was amazing, we had a wonderful room, with a private pool. and the staff sent us a courtsey beer becoz it was rainning outside. lovely gestures of putting hibiscus flowers in ur pool everyday, the juice in the reception. highly recommended for romantic couples, honey mooners, and couples with an interest in a romantic experience. ask for a room at the upper part of resort, they have the best views.

EXCELLENTE!!!by Yahoo | 2008-01-23 17:58:18 |

I loved practically everything!!! It was our first time to Mexico, and Las Brisas was most definitely the place to be! The service was great, I loved the peaceful breakfast with coffee, "pan dulce" & fruit in the morning-without having to even leave our casita! The private pool with the beautiful flowers and the breathtaking views are hard to leave when the trip is over. Used the concierge to take two tours and visit CiCi's waterpark-Mr. Ruben(the tour guide) that we went with to Taxco for the day became a special friend and I look forward to seeing him, and Javier and the other staff perhaps this year again! I don't know what these other posts previously were talking about when they said they saw bugs-that is ridiculous! They must work for the competition, as someone else said. But the bottom line is that Las Brisas is THE place to stay in Acapulco! Adios!

A great place!by Yahoo | 2008-01-04 20:27:14 |

Its very interesting some of the reviews posted here. My guess is they may be posted by the competition. Las Brisas is a great place, wonderful rooms (the recent renovations made them world class), staff is nothing short of amazing, food is great. One of the reasons they have remained a destination resort for 50 years is, that they are constantly improving the place. We have been going there for over fifteen years, sometimes twice a year and have traveled all over the world yet we keep returning because it one of the most relaxing places we have visited. At Las Brisas you can never leave your room and feel completely pampered or you can do the town, its got a little of everything. One of the comments that I read here was about the cleanliness of the private pools, its been our experience that the pools are very clean, in fact they clean them every day, usually with two or three staff. We have never heard or read of anyone (until this site) that spoke of bed bugs. I just wanted to give folks a clear picture of this amazing place, in fact we are headed there for another visit next week

Not a Class Actby Yahoo | 2007-05-12 13:30:17 |

THe view of the resort from most rooms are amazing. That is the only good thing I can say about the resort. The staff were rude, and arrogant. The General Manager could care nothing more than numbers themselves. Besides the private pools (which are not cleaned too often - roaches, etc), you have to wait 20-60min to get to what they call their beach. There is actually no sand, and it is always sooooo crowded, it leaves most people no choice but to "rent" one of their Jeeps and try to beat the crowd to the beach. We had a HUGE roach and ant problem (ants in the bed) and all the resort did was provide us with roach spray. We had a room with a private pool but there were dead roaches in there as well. I can only imagine what are in the kitchens. The weather in December was beautiful, but that is about it. We actually swicthed resorts which made the vacation a whole lot more enjoyable. We never have complained about any other resort we have ever been to. I would highly encourage one to research other places. Tehre are many NEW spots that are more relaxing and blow this resort away!!!

Awesome place!by Yahoo | 2007-03-16 02:07:21 |

We loved the private pool and the breakfast that was delivered daily. Every morning we sat by the pool and ate our breakfast as we looked out over the bay. Just beautiful!
