A good place to visitby Yahoo | 2006-10-12 16:40:57 |

I wasn't sure about The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center since we had already visited the Taos Pueblo, and others a couple of days before. The Center was a great visit though. The museum that is in the basement is very good and puts the history in a logical order with great exhibits....the place is full of shopping especially during the balloon fiesta and of course we had to buy something at least. The restaurant is also good and you can go there without paying the entry fee (there are 2 for 1 coupons available). It was well worth the time and would recommend it.

In Tune With the Pastby Yahoo | 2006-09-14 16:05:13 |

I loved this place! Walking through the gift shops (and buying a lot of jewelry), the museums and looking at the past and objects collected from the past and on view, was such a delight. Dining there was so cozy, that before you left, you knew your neighbors and where they were from. I had so much fun watching the Indian dancers, do their native dances and dancing in all their beautiful costumes. Even the Indian children participated. You sat outside around a circle, where the dancers danced. I was awesome.

Well worth the trip!by Yahoo | 2006-09-01 11:37:19 |

I have visited the Cultural Center many, many times and have never been disappointed. It is the best source in Albuquerque, with the best prices (in my opinion) for authentic Native American made jewelry. The restaurant has delicious fair, also! I have found the employees to be friendly, helpful and it is sheer joy for me to visit and share the experience! I look forward to going back year after year. Thank you, my Native American friends, for this absolutely wonderful place!

Make This Your First Stop in ABQ.by Yahoo | 2006-05-24 06:06:25 |

The Culture Center has something for everyone: Authentic Native American Restaurant, Gift Shop with a well stocked bookstore of several topics of Native American Culture. Many pueblos do not allow photos and video to be taken of their dancers. At the Culture Center visiting drummers and dancers can be freely photographed. There are live demonstrations of Native American jewelery making by famous artists on the grounds. There is a scholarly research library located in the Culture Center. The prices of items in the Gift Shop are fair and reasonable.

A Necessary Visitby Yahoo | 2005-08-27 20:58:46 |

I think the best part of a visit here is that you get a perspective on history that you won't find in most history books. It's a good eye opener for people who aren't to familiar with Native American history and culture.

Must see at the beginning of visitby Yahoo | 2005-07-31 20:42:29 |

This museum really was wonderful. The restaurant was also very good. We were able to really get an overview of the Pueblo Culture prior to visiting one of the pueblos. This is a must see place for visitors to Albuquerque.

Wish I had more space!by Yahoo | 2005-05-19 22:48:33 |

I wish I'd had more space to take things back in my suitcase! I bought a fairly large bronze statue here at a killer price. The lady packaged it for me, so I could mail it. Unbelievably careful packaging! Lots to see, clean & friendly. I must have gone in the 'off season' because I had no trouble getting into the parking lot.

Great to seeby Yahoo | 2005-04-30 18:00:58 |

The center is wonderful. Although it is full of shopping it also has alot of wonderful displays showing the fine work of local tribes. Go right to the information lady. They have some great insights.
