Monroe's New Mexican Food, which started out as a small drive-in restaurant a few blocks from Old Town, has developed a nationally-recognized line of New Mexican food products. The small location on Lomas does not accept reservations, and at lunch time it is not uncommon to find a line winding through the parking lot. Their Green Chile Cheeseburgers are world famous.
