Overview

Vlaeykensgang is a small network of narrow streets and alleys in the oldest part of the city. Dating back to the sixteenth century, the buildings and alleys evoke a medieval but warm atmosphere where you can enjoy a pleasant walk. If it's around lunchtime, stop for a meal in one of the little restaurants or try the exclusive Sir Anthony Van Dyck restaurant, and if you're lucky you can enjoy the carillon concerts from your table.
