While the tourists flock to Glenwood Spring's world famous hot springs pool, locals avoid the crowds and commercialism and sneak over to this tiny pool of hot water. Located along the banks of the Colorado River, a few yards east of a rafting company's take-out spot in Two Rivers Park, this tiny water pocket is fed by the hot spring's pool itself. The water is hotter than 90 degrees, and its amphitheatre of stone can fit five to six people. If it gets too hot, just step over the tiny stone wall for a cold plunge into the Colorado River that hovers between 40-50 degrees. This is also a popular stop with the rafting companies.
