The complex named after the Greek god of wine is the ideal resting place after a visit to the Acropolis. Customers can sit either in the courtyard or on the terraces shaded by tall trees. The café opens for breakfast and stays open until after midnight.

Absolutely beautiful view of the Acropolis (especially at night!)and Hrodiou theater. You can enjoy your coffee and the scenary for hours. Highly recommend it. I had lived in Athens for years and never went, this past summer went back for a visit and had the chance to go.

I just got back from my first trip to Athens, and one of the main things I would recommend to anyone going is to try the Dionysos restaurant. Located between the Acropolis the the Fillipopus Hill, this restaurant has a view that you can't really get anywhere else....a perfect view of the Acropolis. The daytime view is fantastic, but the evening view...you can't buy that anywhere else. The food is a bit pricey, but well worth it. The food and service were great. I highly recommend saving up some cash and having a nice dinner here.
