Just a few miles northeast of downtown, this elegant lodge is hidden away in one of Atlanta's most pleasant residential areas. The guest quarters were fully redecorated in 1998 in a cheerful country French motif and feature such conveniences as computer modems and extended room-service hours. A cafe and lounge are available for quick bites, while many nearby college hangouts offer trendy, affordable fare. This good location puts guests close to the Centers for Disease Control, the world headquarters of Turner Broadcasting and, of course, Emory University.
