Overview

Home of the Atlanta Braves, Turner Field is a fun place to visit even if you're not interested in baseball. Built as a multi-use facility for the 1996 Olympics, the stadium houses The Braves Museum as well as several restaurants, which range from the elegant Chop House to traditional concession stands. Stop by at Scouts Alley, which has a whole load of interactive games. Come out and be surrounded by the smell of hot boiled peanuts and the terrifying battle cry of the "Tomahawk Chop." Tours of the stadium complex are available both during the season and off-season.

Loving Turner Field!!by Yahoo | 2006-10-17 18:46:13 |

This place is amazing!! Beautiful stadium along and fantasic atmosphere if your wanting to connect with other braves fans! Traffic does get a little bad, so arrive early! Prices are very reasonable!

Interesting Turner Fieldby Yahoo | 2006-07-28 19:18:59 |

We did not encounter any parking/leaving difficulties as we parked for free at Grant Park and walked about a mile west to the stadium (I'd not recommend doing this at night). There's a sports bar just west across the street from Turner Field where fans can relax before/after the game. Also there's Kentucky Fried Chicken on the other side, if you're trying to avoid paying concession prices to eat. The stadium is huge and very pretty. Most of the fans seemed to be very excited about attending the game. Braves fans are dedicated. Everything is in tip-top shape, and so is the team (at least from 1991-2005). Be warned: a day game is extremely hot, so get a seat in the shade. Turner Field field ticket prices are great (starting at $1.00!) and parking is $5.00 per vehicle.

More than Baseballby Yahoo | 2006-07-07 06:54:54 |

I loved Turner Field. It's big, nice, well-structured, fun-fiilled... just great. I like baseball, mainly Braves baseball. Turner Field is the 1st MLB game i attended. It's very interesting and there's soo much to do. There's alot of history there too, Hank Aaron, etc. The fun and humor in the atmosphere is great. It's really great that they have so much more stuff to do besides watch the game, although that's what i prefer. I actually got a ball, only cause I was there with one of the field security gaurd's family. But i still had a great time. The food is good and if u look in the right place it's not expensive.

GREAT!by Yahoo | 2006-03-20 15:30:25 |

Wonderful stadium! Beautiful as the Olympic Stadium as well as now. We were glad we were under the covered area since it rained. Arrive early to avoid the traffic. We really didn't have a problem with traffic the same way the last review said.

Bad Trafficby Yahoo | 2005-06-17 19:17:34 |

You should read the reviews for the "Atlanta Braves". The traffic is horendous. Took me almost 3 hours to drive there and sit down. Once you sat down it was great. Great experience! Wonderful beautiful stadium. It now holds the largest High Definition Screen in the world. It's about the size of about 2 sections of seats! Great fun but man oh man, fix that traffic/parking situation!! It's way too disorganized!!
