Fun if you like being surrounded by pot-bellied expats who actually believe that the working-girls don't just want their cash. It's a surreal venue: like being in a nice dark NYC bar, but with nerdier DJs, and the sort of patrons who wouldn't ever get in, or even have the nerve to try to enter, an actual cool bar in any big city other than Bangkok. Leaves you laughing. Not worth the bother. Also, the same working-girls can be found elsewhere, earlier for a quarter of the price. (Plus, earlier they're two or three short-times fresher!). Q-bar is also painstakingly pseudo-promoted online by it's shareholders/friends, so don't believe the hype.

It was 700 Baht to get in and that included two free drinks. The only thing I liked were the Mojitos. Outside of that the music was not what I expected. Reading other reviews, they stated that this place played a variety of music. Well on this particular Friday night all I heard was house/techno. I will admit the club is very clean and nice on the eyes. The crowd on the other hand was full of old guys trying to dress about 20-30 years younger. Just was not what I expected. Overall it was an over priced evening.

Always a good looking crowd, every night of the week. Great big drinks and variety of spirits, awsome DJs

I'd say that you should try this place and you will know. The most thing I like is cocktails. The bartenders are very good.
