Overview
Dive 150 feet below the surface of the sea to view a veritable treasure of life and activity: colorful and exotic corals, fascinating sunken ships, fish and other creatures of the deep. View it all from the safe and comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere of the Atlantis Submarine. If you do not want to go so deep, the Atlantis Seatrec will allow you to view the breathtaking shallow coral reefs and historic wrecks three to six meters (10 to 20 feet) below the surface. These provide great photo opportunities.
I did this trip back in 2002. It was an ok trip. It was pretty cool see all the sea turtles and stuff like that. It did not last as long as I would have hoped for. A lot of the time was spent riding out on another boat to get on to the sub.
wear varifocals so when snorkeling cannot see much, on atlantis could see everything, brilliant. Usually stay in south gap hotel which is small and informal but very friendly, visit the watering hole for a great nights karoke. Try the speedboat which goes out same time as catamarans but gets there quicker and the crew are lovely. Stilletto 2 catamaran also brilliant. Going back this november
When one takes this dive beneath the wonderful clear, crystal water which Barbados is surrounded by one sees lovely fish, reef etc that lies below the surface. The crew shows you everything and explains this so well that I would go back any day with my family.
I like it because you get to see stuff that you can't see from the shore and that you can't see from just passing over on a boat.
It was great. You got to see things most people will never see. it's a must do while in barbados.
