Overview

The enormous Princesa Sofía Inter-Continental hotel, built in the 1960s, is one of the city's modern classics. The glass-fronted bedrooms on the upper floors provide marvellous views of the most cosmopolitan area of the city, Avinguda Diagonal. Great care has been taken to furnish the bedrooms in a style of refined luxury. It is easy to get from here to the airport, the Barca football stadium and L'Illa shopping centre.
