Paddy Reilly's is the solution for every homesick Brit or Irish in Basel. The Guinness is poured perfectly, the staff are all British, and often don't have the best German, so orders are all taken in English. The English-speaking community in Basel have certainly taken to this pub. They can relax with their own and forget that they're not in London or Dublin. The interiors, with its old style adverts, certainly make the pub look very authentic. dingy and a bit dirty and will ruin your clothes with the smell of smoke within 2 mins of going inside, it caters mainly for the brit population of the area, found out from someone that worked there for 2 years that they never once saw the lines washed thru! does have quite a nice atmosphere but all depends on the people that are in.
GREAT place, especially on Fridays, good food, good drinking, good mood.....what else do you need on a Friday happy hour!? Plus a Great DJ, big screens for sports and great fun garanteed

loved the people, the dj, the bouncers, the music (r&b!!). People say that in tessin everybody is friendly and nice....I would rather say that in basel people are this way.
