Overview

This is one of Berlin's typical lounge-bars which you can visit when you get bored of sitting in your own living room. Small groups of students and other young people sit and chat on the kind of sofas and armchairs you'd see in your grandma's front room. Several book cases contain rows of classic East German novels, and the walls are lined with dozens of portraits of the same woman; presumably the owner. The staff are unassuming, but nevertheless attentive and friendly. A great place for a quiet drink with friends. The bar is open on weekdays from 4 pm and on weekends from 3 pm.
