Overview

One of the last buildings in the area not to have been completely restored, Acud Kunstverein possesses a real sense of history. A lonesome building standing on a plot of land which was almost completely reduced to rubble during the War, the home of the Acud Society houses a cinema, gallery, pub and a dance club. Acud Kino concentrates on highbrow films for people with no interest in the latest Hollywood trash. Unsurprisingly, the center is frequented by culture-vultures, especially students.
