Overview

Martin-Luther-Kirche is a strong attraction to those visiting Berlin, in part because of the name that is associated with the church. Although this isn't the actual church that Martin Luther nailed his famed 95 Theses to, it does offer some insight into the reformer's life and influence on the Catholic church. There are daily tours around the building which outline the spectacular architecture and give the history behind the life-sized statue of the Luther that sits in front. It was finished in 1928 and was a more formal response to Martinskirche, located nearby.
