Overview

The Museo del Patrimonio Industriale, set up in 1982, was created to acknowledge the local industrial patrimony, and serves both in a didactic-divulgative form, and for research. The museum exhibits include craft and industrial machinery from various periods, from the 16th to 18th-century silk industry, to the use of new forms of energy and more advanced technology. The exhibition covers all periods of industrial development. The museum is hoping to install a library, an archive, and a space for temporary exhibitions.
