Overview

At this longstanding resort, guests are lodged in cottage-type bungalows made of concrete but fitted with native-style bamboo walls and wooden balconies. An atmosphere of quiet seclusion, enhanced by a well-tended lawn and greenery (dwarf coconuts, exotic orchids and so forth), has made Red Coconut a favorite of returning guests. One of the first accommodations on the island, dating back to 1984, long before electricity was introduced, Red Coconut lies just two minutes away from White Beach.
