Cap Sciences a center of scientific, technical, and industrial culture was created in 1995. Situated in a 1500 square meter (16,145 square foot) hanger on the banks of the Garonne, it holds scientific and technical expositions that are open to the public. Conferences complement the major expositions (held every six months) and the center often holds workshops to familiarize the public with biology and new technologies.
