Overview

The original Benedictine abbey, built during the 12th and 13th Centuries, can still be admired in the walls and body which remain, along with relics of furniture. The church was almost entirely restored by Paul Abadie during the 19th Century. Richly sculpted gates representing Avarice and Luxury are notable on the facade. The organ is also remarkable, created during the 18th Century by Dom Bédos de Celles.
