Not worth the dollarsby Yahoo | 2008-12-08 00:55:09 |

The admission fee is priced too high (20 USD). My group had 15 people and some of us did not have the chance to solve the puzzle. I think they should limit 10 people to a group. The guide was entertaining but the puzzles were too easy and short, and at some point, the sound effect was muffled. Overall, It's not worth the time and money.

Great trip for any ageby Yahoo | 2008-03-19 18:05:46 |

My boyfriend and I, who are in our 20's, had a great time here. It's one of those things were the experience is what you make of it. It was a little pricey, but fun and challenging.

Awesome for all ages - go laterby Yahoo | 2008-01-05 20:56:36 |

5 W!TS adventure "Tomb" is a superb way to spend 45 minutes while in Boston. At $20 a person, it's a bit on the pricey side, but this doesn't detract from what is a fabulous attraction - 5 stars! Quite simply, you solve puzzles in an Egyptian tomb or "die". It has the whimsy and design of a Disney ride that you actually interact with. The tour guides are all convincing and humerous in their roles. My advice is to go later so you will have a smaller group. When the groups get too large, people with poor puzzle skills may end up ruining things for everyone. In my case, I was ordering around 9 year olds in no time - I needed to solve the puzzles!

Whole lot of funby Yahoo | 2007-08-10 19:20:56 |

nothing, but it can be dark at time so it isn't good for those who daon't like to be thrown into darkness. also you need to use your brain, as well as your hands. Worth every penny

Great Timeby Yahoo | 2007-04-15 22:05:39 |

The first time I went to 5wits i had no idea what to expect. We had a great time. the staff we great and the price for the tour was affordable. It was a great time. i recommend it to any one that comes to Boston.

rip-offby Yahoo | 2007-02-08 21:26:31 |

Cheesy, only for young kids. Guide hurried us thru and was impatient to get rid of our group. She herded us thru the 45 minute tour in under 30 minutes. Solved the puzzles for us. The "tomb" is really warm and smells like chlorine. Save your money.

Don't waste your money!by Yahoo | 2006-07-17 16:03:06 |

I, too, thought this would be exciting and fun but it was truly a terrible waste of money. The concept is good but the way it's done isn't too fun or exciting. The effects definitely weren't 'movie' quality. The 'challenges' aren't really challenging at all. Our group, which was 12 people, ended up finishing all of them pretty quickly - much less than the stated 45 minute show that it was supposed to be. As well, you never end up resolving the whole puzzle. It just ends. I do have to admit that our guide was great - didn't help us finish the puzzles (although assistance wasn't needed) and she wasn't lame.

Not at ALL excitingby Yahoo | 2006-05-29 00:06:38 |

After reading the reviews, it seemed just the type of place my 11 year old would love. It sounded like it was going to be a cross between Survivor and a game of Clue. Sadly, watching Survivor on TV was FAR more thrilling. Unlike the reviews, there were NO "Stephen Spielberg like effects". It was incredibly frustrating to spend $40 (with tix and parking) for something so lame. You are basically led into the darkened rooms and given small "challenges" to perform. These challenges are basically mind puzzles to perform with the group. To me it felt more like a tacky kids birthday party than anything else. Definitely would not recommmend.

Not so exciting!by Yahoo | 2006-04-09 18:58:05 |

My friend and I found this really boring! We thought it would be scary. Nothing much to see. It was like a kid thing.

Very Coolby Yahoo | 2005-10-31 23:25:53 |

This place was cool. I went with my girlfriend and two other couples and we had a blast. It's kind of like what you've always wanted to do in a museum. Run around and solve a mystery. The guides are funny and really make the experience awesome. They are going to have another theme soon I think.
