There are several Thai restaurants along this stretch of Massachusetts Avenue, but Bangkok City Restaurant has the best atmosphere. Popular with area students and patrons of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes with many vegetarian options. The seafood dishes are a specialty. Try the shrimp and squid fried rice or the sweet and spicy catfish filet. Rumor has it that there is a secret menu with the really spicy dishes on it. T
