Forest Cafe is packed with academic-looking patrons, but it is no upscale Cambridge eatery. Rustic murals and tapestries liven up the decor and salsa music entertains the diners. Savory moles and salsas kick the award-winning regional Mexican fare up a notch. Zesty entrees include Puerco Adobado, which is a tantalizing combination of pork chops complete with Yucatan seasonings and is served with white rice, black beans and greens. Most dishes can be prepared vegetarian upon request.
