Many restaurants in Boston claim to have the best ribs in town, but carnivorous locals can tell you that this kitschy Southern joint is the real deal. The ribs are dry-rubbed and smoked for hours before they reach your plate. Sauce is served on the side, not baked on. Rib styles include Memphis, Arkansas, Texas and baby back. The menu also includes sandwiches, fish, steaks and down-home Southern sides like succotash, corn pudding and fried okra. Two dozen microbrews are available on tap.
