You will go back!by Yahoo | 2004-12-29 01:13:56 |

I've traveled all over the USA and I have to say that Santarpio's is the BEST pizza I've every had. It's all CASH so, don't bring any rubber checks or plastic! I will bet that if you go ... you will enjoy every piece and will go back again! Plus, the ice cold beer is great! It's like an old time tavern. It's clean and the food is great! I've seen famous people there from news, music, movies, etc. Price's are great too!

So it's not easy to get there. Take the T and you gotta walk about 6 blocks. If you drive, take the first exit right out of the Callahan Tunnel. Don't blink, you'll miss the exit. It's right at the end of the street. Parking's a bit sketchy. Find a spot, make it work. It's worth it. Place is kind of a dive. No doubt. But the pizza? Best in Boston, NY or San Diego. I can't vouch for anyplace else. Thin crust like God intended. Sauce has a great flavor. Try the sausage skewer. Oh, and if you don't like pizza, skewers of sausage or lamb? Stay home. It's all they sell.
