Overview

Walk the Freedom Trail with some famous old characters. Abigail Adams, James Otis or Benjamin Franklin would be happy to entertain and inform a large group or family on the history behind the city of Boston and the American Revolution. Costumed interpreters from the non-profit Freedom Trail Foundation share their encyclopedic knowledge of the past and guarantee startled looks from passersby. Two week advance reservation is required. Customized trail tours last 90 minutes.

We had the very best tour with Abigail Adams as our hostess. From her vast knowledge of Boston's history and some wonderful personal insite to life in Revolutionary Boston AND witty sense of humor, my family (along with several other tour goers)believed that she really was Abigail. Not just a tour guide in a pretty dress! It is clear that the Freedom Trail Players are very well trained historians and performers. I would recommend the Freedom Trail Tour to any Boston visitor-young or old (and ask for Abigail Adams to be your hostess-she was great)
