A very nice choiceby Yahoo | 2010-01-18 17:51:10 |

I have visited Boulder four times, and stayed at a different hotel each time. ( Yes, I can be difficult ) The Boulder Inn was a first rate hotel. It looks as though they have recently finished a renovation. The rooms were clean, with a modern decor. I'm very glad that I found it.

Great service, great dealsby Yahoo | 2009-02-03 19:50:51 |

I stayed in this hotel from Jan 8th to Jan 13th, and would definitely stay again. The service was very friendly but never invasive, everyone was friendly and professional without getting underfoot. I was visiting a friend and we spent a fair bit of time in the room, housekeeping was always willing to work around our schedule. While I was there, there was some planned maintenance on some of the rooms. To make up for the inconvenience, I was upgraded to a deluxe room for part of my stay, until that section needed the carpets changed. Both rooms I was in were lovely and well-maintained. I would also definitely recommend checking out the hot tub. It's spacious and warm and a glorious way to warm up after a long day in the Colorado winter. It's also in a separate building from the rooms themselves, so it's nice and quiet and private. The location is relatively decent (restaurants and convenience stores nearby) but it would be a bit of a walk to some of the more interesting parst of Boulder. Luckily my friend has a car.

Typical chain, four stars for value thoughby Yahoo | 2008-09-28 15:29:06 |

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting CU Boulder, and it was an ok chain hotel. I can't complain, we had no problems and the price was right.

i had a reservation for 1 room for 2 adults 2 qween size beds.i had a conformation number and when we arrived they had forgot to enter it in the computer and had gave our room away a few hours earlier. the 2 people at the front desk were very polite and sorry.so they gave us 2 rooms for the price of 1 cause it was there mistake. the name on the other room was the other adult.when i got my credit card bill i got charged for both rooms.i called the motel and after checking records the front dest girl told me there buniness manager overturned the free room .so they charged my credit card without any authoraztion or singature.already been turned in.so bee carefull if this haPPENS TO YOU

So close but so farby Yahoo | 2007-08-02 12:25:30 |

We were visiting CU to see Julius Caesar and to do the student tour. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the university. It claims to be closest to the university, but they don't tell you that between the hotel and the university is a freeway that you have to walk along and a walkway under the freeway that you have to choose. It is not convenient to the main buildings of the university, you still have to drive and park on the campus. The hotel itself is a good basic hotel, bed comfortable, no smoking room really is no smoking, breakfast ok and pool clean. But don't choose it if you wish to walk to the university.

One of Boulder's bestby Yahoo | 2007-06-13 20:57:16 |

Just an all around nice place. Friendly staff, free breakfast, super clean rooms, and a location near everything. In the past, I have paid 3 times as much for 1/2 the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I really enjoyed staying here. I don't know what it was. Probably the front desk staff. They can make or break any hotel stay. This crew was mostly college kids from the University across the street. Every time I came in the door they smiled and said hi. I will definitely be back.

Stay away from this dumpby Yahoo | 2006-09-27 16:45:31 |

Staff was rude, air conditioning didn't work, room smelled of stale smoke, free breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had at a hotel, bed was unconfortable. Do yourself a favor and stay 5 minutes up the road at the Hampton Inn, while it is not at the foot of the Rockies, you will be happier with the Hampton than this Best Western dump. The only positive thing I can say is they allowed an earlier check-in. If you review their website, it looks a whole lot nicer on the internet than it does in person. This place is a real dump, stay somewhere else if you have a choice.

Will be great after renovations finishby Yahoo | 2006-07-11 15:46:20 |

Needed a place to stay while looking for an apartment. The location is great with easy access to CU and the main roads into other parts of the city. Rooms are clean, wireless access is easy, but some parts still are a little under-standard, i.e. the iron is so tightly attached to the ironing board (to prevent stealing) that you can't iron easily, plus the iron broke everytime the steamer turned on. But the people were nice, and it will look good once the renovations finish.

Leo Boohaker's Reviewby Yahoo | 2005-09-16 14:50:10 |

The staff is so friendly. I have stayed there many times and have enjoyed it all the time. Steven Wallace is awesome. The hideaway location is great as well.
