For the cheapest sleep in town, minus a lawn bed outside the courthouse on the Pearl Street Mall, check out the Boulder Youth Hostel. Located in a pleasant brick building in the University Hill District, and surrounded by beautiful gardens, the hostel is the perfect place for those on a serious budget. There are separate dormitories for men and women, and private rooms and apartments for extended stays. The same friendly folks have been running the place since 1961, and have entertained guests from all over the world. Reservations are necessary from July through September.
