Overview
My husband and I have eaten here on several ocassion including lunch and dinner and also after two different Andy Williams Shows. In each case our food was excellent. The service was attentive and effecient. The biggest surprise was that Andy came to our table for a short chat. We were encouraged to take photos which we did. The artwork in the restaurant is superb as is the atmosphere. I would describe it as sophisticated and yet relaxed. The menu is varied as are the prices. We felt for a restaurant of this quality, the food was reasonable. Everything we have tried on the menu has been delicious. I would suggest this to anyone who is visiting the Branson, MO area. If you would like to meet Andy, I suggest that you make reservations for a time just after the evening show. ENJOY!!
THE GRILL IS TERRIABLE. WENT THERE FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER AND IT RUINED MY DAY. WAS TOLD WE COULD ORDER FROM THE MENU OR HAVE A THANKSGIVING SPECIAL. JASON OUR WAITER SAID WE HAD TO ORDER TURKEY OR HAM THAT WAS OUR CHOICE. HE WAS VERY SLOW. AFTER ORDERING WE WAITED 10 MIN FOR COFFEE. IT WAS COLD. GOT SALAD WHICH WAS A HANDFUL OF LETTUCE ONLY. PUMPKIN SOUP WAS ALRIGHT.HAD TO WAIT FOR SILVERWARE AND NEVER GOT WATER. NEVER GOT ROLLS. FOOD WAS VERY SMALL PORTIONS AND COLD. POTATOES WERE 5 LUMPS WITH WHITE SOMETHING. SENT MY DINNER BACK. MANAGER WAS RUDE AND SAID YOU ORDERED IT YOU PAY FOR IT. HE SAID THE POTATOES WERE 'SMASHED' POT. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? THE MENU SAID MASHED! HE AS MUCH AS SAID WE HAD NO KNOWLEDE OF THE FINER THINGS AND SUGGESTED WE EAT WHERE THEY HAVE INSTANT THINGS! WITH THAT HE WALKED AWAY. FOR $22.95 a PLATE I'AM SURE I WAS NOT THE ONLY SAD AND DISAPPOINTED PERSON THERE THAT DAY.
I really enjoyed going to the Andy Willams Show at the theater it was the best! However I would suggest to all! that you avoid Andys cooking, while he may be one great singer..His Resturnat the Moon River Grill is like a over priced Denny's with worst food! I could not belive the wait, the poor service, the COLD food, and the fact it was very poorly preparred....their Chef must be blind cause I don't think any Real Chef would serve something that bad!
I was at the Moon River Theatre in May 2006 and willbe returning this fallto see Andy and Charo. As a member of the younger generation (I'm 37) Ihave tosay that Andy is the best out there. So smooth, such a gentleman, and such a real talent. I loved his show so much that I cancelled others I had scheudled in my Branson schedule and Saw Andy four times that week - WOW. Can;t wait to get back and see Andy;s show once again. He truly is an American Icon!
We had seats in the front row, and we couldn't take our eyes off of Andy. How could one man have so much charm and talent? It was the best show in Branson, and we'll be back next year to see it again.
It is perfect. It is a beautiful place. I like the architecture of the theater as well as the art/.sculptures (inside/outside) and displays on the walls. The artists/singers "Glen Campbell & Charo" were fabulous...It was a wonderful evening!...Bravo! in the Fall, I am coming back to see Andy Williams and Petula Clark. Gigi.
Seats on row two for Andy Williams and Glen Campbell. The show was wonerful. Andy sang most of his catalog of songs. He is nearly 80 years old and was still dancing like a 40 year old. His voice was marvelous. It is a great value for the price. It is wirth every panny. It was like seeing two shows in one. Glen Campell is around 70 and still awesome as well. For those who grew up like I did watching Andy Williams Show it was a trip down memory lane. It was a "Goodtime Hour" With Glen Campbell as well.
The most professional and talented show on the strip. Excellent stage to crowd interaction. Fantastic presentation.
