Two miles south of Branson and perched on top of a bluff overlooking Lake Taneycomo sits the local institution of higher learning. But the college is much more than just a place to simply hit the books. It is a popular place to escape for an intimate walk on the verdant grounds, or simply a good place to get away from it all. One of the draws is the award-winning rose garden cared for by students. To explore the campus, just follow the red stripe that is painted on the sidewalk. This stripe will lead you to places of interest such as a working watermill, several massive green houses and Williams Memorial Chapel.
I love this school:) COOL PEOPLE go there! 4th soberest school in the nation, really nice people, cool teachers, the rules are definitely there but easy to follow and not too strict!!!!
I use to go to school there and i can definitally say that it is a horrible school. The supervisors slack off, or dont try to get to known you, and then they grade students on their quality of work. The education their is about average. Students get stressed out when living there because they work too much and have to take a minimum of 15 credit hours a semester. The dorms are also another big stress factor. The air conditioners have mold growing in them because they are so old. The museum on campus is not very good. The only good thing that I can say about this college is that it has a pretty campus.
I HAVE VISITED THE CAMPUS SEVERAL TIMES THESE LAST 4 YEARS. HAVING SPENT TIME AT THE MUSEUM, MOTEL, AND RESTAURANT,(BOTH OF THEM) WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ACCOMDATIONS AND SCHOOL TO ANYONE.
I went to a graduation there and it was wonderful. Beautiful campus and helpful people. I would definetely recomend visiting the fruitcake kitchen its awesome.
