Overview
This company offers 80-minute tours of the sites of both Branson and Lake Taneycomo. The tour begins on land as a WWII amphibious vehicle wanders about the local Ozark area before plunging into the lake for a boat tour. You will get to see sights such as Tablerock Lake Dam, Showboat Branson Belle, the fish hatchery and more. For more than 25 years, these Coast Guard-licensed captains have guided visitors on fun, fact-filled trips around the area. So grab your "Wacky Quacker," a goofy yellow duck call that tourists seem to love as they quack away on the ride, hop on one of the Ducks and enjoy the ride. Admission (tax included): Adults $17.95; Kids $9.95, Seniors $13.95.I've ridden the ducks before with my son, but when my new husband and I visited Branson, I knew this would be an entertaining way to see the sights. It's folksy and quaint, but a fun thing to do on a hot summer afternoon!
We loved the duck and Captain Dan.He was very friendly and funny. The duck is a great tour and lovely view! All kids are offered to drive in the lake ,lots of quacks and laughter. The only problem was the lake was flooded over 14 feet so we didnt get to splash in BUT we all had a grand time anyway :)
You will get a duck call to wear around your neck! The Captain will be a wanna be comedian, very fun ride, newly weds ride in the back, little kids get to drive the boat in the water...everyone has a good time on land and water!
This is a great thing to do if you are in Branson. The ride was amazing and I took over 30 pictures. Great ride, Great experience, Great staff, and a great thing to do with your family.
The ride was so fun and it was awesome how the wheels turned into a boat thing.lol. it was totally fun! i loved it so much!
My mother & I departed from 76 around 6PM on Saturday June 14, 2008 and had a short wait before boarding. Captain Yvette was our driver and she seemed very knowledgeable and gave lots of tips for making the most of our visit. Even though the lake was high and we couldn't splash into the water we had a great time cruising around the lake. I was able to get some great pictures and we would have missed seeing a neat part of our military history had we skipped this attraction, but even after using coupons it was still a bit pricey at $42.00 for two riders.
WE WERE VERY SATTISFIED WITHE EXPERIENCE. CAPT, BOB WAS OUR SKIPPER, WE WERE 6 ADULTS AND 3 CHILDREN, WE SAT UP FRONT AND IT WAS GREAT. ON OUR TOUR, JUST AFTER GETTING STARTED THE TRANSMISSION WENT IN OUR DUCK. IT DID NOT TAKE LONG FOR THEM TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT THERE FOR US. CAPT. BOB WAS GREAT WITH THE PEOPLE DURING THE TIME AND ALL THROUGH THE TOUR. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY AND HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH CAPT. BOB AND WE WILL CHOOSE TO HAVE HIM AGAIN.
My family and I loved riding the ducks. Captain Daisy kept us laughing the whole time. I was really glad to hear the trip was over an hour considering the price it was. Overall I would recommend if you have never done this before you absolutely should. It was quite the experience driving from the rode right into the water.
This is a very fun family thing to do. *captain bill* was a fun guy and we learned alot of history of Branson. I would recommend this to anyone going to visit Branson! We will definetly do this again on every trip to Branson.......
The fire and water show on LAKE TANEYCOMO was the best . This is the one at the landing . we took the 7:15 pm ride . Captian Science was our driver, He really made the ride a fun for all age experience thanks . Kennett MO family of four
