Overview
The 1995 tourist attraction of the year, and one of Europe's premier royal palaces, and a former home of George IV, The Royal Pavilion, is one of the UK's most exotic buildings. Indian architecture contrasts with interiors inspired by the Orient and collections of furniture and soft furnishings, decorative art, silver gilt and chinoiserie, including loans from the Queen. Restored to its full regency glory and set in restored Regency gardens.Open Hours
Mo to Su from 09:30 AM to 05:45 PMwell i thought it was the worst place i have ever been beacuse the staff were rude adn i not going there agian in my whole intyer life and my family ait to
the sheer opulence was quite breathtaking. I want that kitchen! Well worth the visit even if parking is astronomically expensive (great wee sandwich shop up the street)
the fact that it took your breath away when you first see the outside.inside was fasinating and audio tour was great.i loved the fact that the city of brighten saved it,buying it for 50,000 pds.,not to mention the queen of our day, giving back some of the furniture that was taken out by queen victoria.
the architecture is unique...india inspired and very cool short walk from the train station and right near the beach...this is a perfect stop along the way also...the restaurant la tasca (spanish) is right next to it...cheap eats and good spanish food and beer
We've all seen it many times on tv, and in print, but the reality of it will still take your breath away. The Banqueting Hall is a wonder to behold, and your senses will just go into overdrive when faced with the magnificence you're witnessing.
Everything about this place is great, one of the beat attractions in Brighton by far, no contest... The music room intrest me most and the tours are to die for, can't wait to go back!
Like no other former or current Royal residence in the UK. The music room is breathtaking!
