Should have read the reviewsby Yahoo | 2006-07-25 09:37:22 |

First, read the reviews before you book this hotel. The hotel was a very lovely looking hotel, on the outside. We booked the hotel originally because the internet site said it had a pool. It does not! Also the staff were rude. Not just one but about three I encountered. The advertisement said breakfast was included. When we checked out we had to pay for the breakfasts, 27 Euro a piece. The breakfast was a buffet and not particularly to my enjoyment. On a positive note, the rooms were very large and the air con was wonderful during this heat wave in Europe. I would not choose this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. I am very sorry I did not read the reviews before booking, as I saw another comment from a person in Hong Kong with the exact same complaints.

Excellent Location!by Yahoo | 2006-04-29 12:20:46 |

The Bristol is located in what could be the Rodeo Drive of Brussels. The hotel is also a short five minute walk from a metro station and 8 minutes from one of Europe's largest public buildings (Brussels' Justice Building). Fantastic pizzerias and waffles are very near. The hotel service is fantastic however, do not expect your cable to work perfectly, it is a common problem in Belgium, if you are stayig at one of the deluxe rooms, by all means, enjoy you complimentary drink and then go for a walk and enjoy the fabulous shops.

Hotel is quite well located in city centre with good rooms. As we have children, we selected this hotel because they said on their website they have an indoor swimming pool and a restaurant. When we arrived, we found out that they had hidden to us that both the swimming pool and the restaurant were closed. I also found out that they systematically hide that breakfast is not included and they charge a lot for breakfast (I should have read reviews of this hotel, as many other travellers seem to waorn for all that). And all this without any apology. The manager was also quite impoloite to say the least. He refused to apologise for all the trouble he had cuased and of course he refused to refund so that we could go to another hotel. I have never been in a hotel with such dishonest and unfriendly management.
