Overview

Señor Tango is in Barracas, the "barrio" (neighbourhood) of "guapos" and true "tangueros". It features an excellent tango show called "Gran Show de Señor Tango" with outstanding musicians and dancers. Often referred to the best tango show in the city, the spectacle certainly is elaborate--fireworks and live horses are involved! A delicious dinner with beverages is served on shared tables. Tickets are available for show only or dinner and show. Multilingual staff is warm, courteous and efficient. Price of ticket includes round trip transportation from your hotel to the venue.

      I enjoyed the show and would love to go back again. The meal was great and the dancers were spectacular. I want to go back to Buenos Aires again

      We live temporarily in Buenos Aires and have visited many tango shows. In short, this place is not the most atmospheric. It looks a bit like a large storage hall made up to a tango venue. But the show is the best in town. The previous reviewer complains about horses, why does he not go to any other tango show because no other has horses? All-you-can drink wine is included but avoid ordering extra drinks (20 USD each!)

      Like for all tango shows in B.A., the prices for Sr. Tango have risen dramatically, US$60 for dinner and show, US$40 for show alone. Music was good, the dancing so-so, I was not impressed by the horses on stage. A Las Vegas-style show that doesn't quite make it.
