Overview

Sip a Margarita from an enormous glass and watch your Tortillas be made by hand. The dishes here are traditional and hard to find elsewhere in Cabo. They include Chiles en Nogada (MXN180) and many variations of the Dense Chocolate and Chile Sauce called Mole. Across the street from the Museo de las Californias, the bright blue exterior hints at the cheerful atmosphere inside, which features murals and a friendly, bolero-jacketed staff.

This was my favorite restaurant in Cabo.by Yahoo | 2008-09-20 22:26:34 |

My friends and I loved this place! The food was fantastic. We had the fruit with spicy sauce, pulpo salad, seafood stew, stuffed poblano pepper, sweet & spicy steak, ...and tres leches cake for desert. We liked everything very much. The frozen margaritas are big and they have many flavors. I had banana flavor which was delicious but be careful because they fill you up so it’s almost like an appetizer. The decor is fun. It’s an open straw roof hut with bright painted walls and furniture, very Mexican looking. They had a show with a mariachi band and a dancer in a white dress who danced with a candle on her head! The staff is very helpful and patient. Prices are resonable. Dress casual or better...but anything goes. It’s on a deserted street which is under construction so don’t get scared when the cab driver drops you off in the middle of nowhere. You walk through a gift shop to get into the main room of the restaurant. They have outdoor seating in the back courtyard but that area was closed when we went. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Not what it once wasby Yahoo | 2006-04-13 00:34:48 |

We have been to Cabo three times in the last 8 years or so. Mi Casa has always been on our list of places to eat. Not sure it remains there. The food (upscale Mexican) is still good, but the prices are MUCH higher, so no longer a good, or even OK, value. The service has lost all of its hospitality. The waiters/servers seemed to have as much interest in their job and us as a McDonald's clerk does. Very strange for Mexico.
