Originally built to house international figures for the opening of the Suez Canal, the Marriott has made a valiant attempt at preserving its original decor. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Piano Bar, which has a distinct 19th-century feel about it. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink. The soft piano music adds to the special ambience of this elegant bar. The elegant dress code is undoubtedly the reason it tends to attract a middle-aged and upper crust clientele. The bar is well stocked with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Middle Eastern and international snacks are also served.
