One of Canada's great museums and Western Canada's largest, this treasure trove houses artifacts of the West, dating back to the first white settlers of the 1800s and the history of the area's First Nations. Along with permanent displays, the Glenbow Museum presents a variety of temporary exhibitions. Visitors also enjoy an art gallery and archives on site.

So many items to view!
I visited the museum for 4 hours one day-all by myself. I loved the Egyptian and Indian exhibits. It was so peaceful and when I entered the Indian teepee I felt as though I could have been engaged in the pow-wow that was in progress. I have never seen a museum like this before and I encourage every age group to go as there is something there for everyone.
