The 9 course samppler menu was delicious and paired well with wine. The Beef Tenderloin was the best I've ever had and would go back for that alone. The service was good but some minor mistakes so 4 stars only. The men's room was under construction so ambiance only get's 4 stars.

Short Story: Don't go there. Long story: We had booked a group for 20 people for a 3 course meal at a set price of 70$. We called back to confirm and they told us no and that it would be atleast 85-110$ a person. This is after we had booked and agreed on a price, and had 20 people plan thier night around this for a special event. The manager was extreamly rude when we tired to resolve the problem, and basiclay said we want to charge you more money or we are canceling your reservation. So obiously with service like that I canceled and went eleswhere. As for the food i was taken out by work there a was not overly impressed, i really did expect better. For about 60$ for lunch plus alcohol I recommend some where eles, my meat was over done the rest was good but not anything special considering it is fine dinning I expected a little more. The service was very slow and snoody. The atmosphere is nice, but overall it has been a bad experience. There is alot of good places in calgary with better food and better service.

This restaurant is excellent if you are looking for a special night out. The service is very professional and the food is amazing. Anyone who does not enjoy this restaurant does not appreciate fine dining.

My youngest son treated us to the dinner "sampler" with wine pairings. It was to say the least; outstanding. From the instant we walked in the door and were greeted like old friends, through the variety of delectable courses and attentive service by our servers to the maitre d'coming by afterwards to thank us for coming in; the experience was in my mind one of the best dining experiences we have had in Calgary and we have had many. One of our party was away from the table as the lamb course was being served and they and they whisked her plate away only to return it the seond they saw her returning to the table. The serving staff are attentive, and professional yet kind and have a sense of humour. I cannot say anything negative about the splendid food the presentation the settings the service, or the room. Not inexpensive certainly but worth every cent and we have paid far more elsewhere for surly waiters and mediocre fare. To suggest that the logistically precise service or anything else at Teatro is poor is utter tripe.

We really enjoyed the quality of the food presented in a subdued manner by a more than effiecient staff. We would go back in an instant.

I should not have listened to teh people that recommened this place to me. the servie is terrible, all a bunch of young kids serving who know nothing about food or wine. Over priced as well. I would strongly encourage you not to eat here.

High prices, but delivers the goods. Creative food expertly prepared, professionally served in an elegant setting. Good overall value.
