Overview

Patrons visit The Phoenix for a chat and a few laughs over drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and occasionally there is live music, including traditional Irish folk music. This is a simple and unpretentious pub, always filled to the brim with loyal patrons. The walls are adorned with paintings by local artists and seating is provided by recycled church pews. The choice of beer here is quite extensive, and with a regular range of spirits and a small selection of cocktails. The Guinness on-tap is almost as good as in Ireland!
