Overview
The museum presents Australian history and culture through a blending of exhibits, technology and hands-on activities. The building is deliberately anti-monumental with a seamless integration between architecture and landscape. Inside there are exhibition galleries, restaurants, theaters and a resource centre. The permanent exhibitions deal with the themes Land, Nation and People, and the Gallery of the First Australians conveys the country's indigenous heritage. The temporary exhibition gallery hosts travelling blockbuster exhibitions. Admission: Free to permanent collection.Open Hours

Its free and lots to see!
I liked the big open spaces, the atmosphere is for the whole family. School holidays are the best time to go with the kids for an educational & fun time for all. Heaps to see and do.
