Overview
A landmark of Canberra, Telstra Tower is the compass of the city; always letting you know where you are. Also called Black Mountain Tower, this modern pinnacle of technology rises from the centre of Canberra Nature Park and offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside. Rising 195 metres above the summit of Black Mountain, the tower was opened in 1980 and provides vital communication facilities for Canberra. The tower provides both inside and outside viewing galleries, a telecommunications museum, cafe, revolving restaurant and gift shop.Open Hours

i loved telstra tower it was amazing esp at night i strongly reccomend it!!!!the gift shop is a bit pricy but the cost to get in is great!

Telstra Tower is Absoutely Spectacular at night! Our class went as a 3 day trip and we just missed sunset but when we got to the top, we were gobsmacked by the view at night! We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here, and it was a faboulous night. The night was a bit cloudy but overall the view is spectacular! The food was great. Being new to Australia from the US we decided to try a platter of mixed grill. My husband had a seafood platter and I had a meat platter. It was interesting trying emu, crocodile and kangaroo, along with bugs and prawns. The servers were very attentive and pleasant. The menu is a bit pricey but for a special occasion you can't beat it!
The view was amazing They had great souvineres The height is great The lift was fast IT is for all ages It was great fun Everyone in year six loved it
