Overview

The Tacolote serves tacos in the center of Cancún. It is popular because of the wide variety of delicious, traditional Mexican tacos and for its moderate prices. The varieties include beefsteak, cutlet, rib, pastor, alambre (a combination of meats and grated cheese with peppers and onion), sarapes (grilled tortilla filled with meat and other ingredients), gratin dishes, pork sausages and some seafood. To complement your tacos, they serve beans or fried onions. The decor is simple, with some typical Mexican motifs. Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is informal and familiar.
