ok..here's the deal.i was here and i loved it. if it were a person and he proposed to me, i would not take a second to think. i would say yes right away. it was the best place i had ever been to. i loved it loved it loved it.

After carefully planning a family trip for months we flew to los Roques but where dismayed to find out that the sailboat that we had contracted (Obsession) for 3 days was not on the island and no one knew its whereabouts. To make matters worse there where no rooms available on the island of Grand Roque and we had nowhere to go since the last departing plane was full. Luckily we where able to find a smaller sailboat by paying a hefty cash price on the spot. Unfortunately it was not prepared to receive us (dirty, stale food) but at least we had a place to sleep. The next day the original sailboat showed up. The owner of the boat did not even apologize. We had already paid for the whole 3 days and the obsession so we agreed with it

There were soldiers changing guard over the Simon Bolivar statue when we were there. I love the Plazas Bolivar en every city I have been to.
