Overview
Like the other restaurants at Pebble Beach, this place has a deceivingly folksy name to go with a decidedly up-market atmosphere. The decor is modern with exposed beams, hanging deco-style lamps and abstract artwork. The menu features an array of creative, mouthwatering seafood dishes such as Oyster Chowder ($7), Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon Roulade ($19.75) and Applewood Smoked Sea Bass ($21). The raw bar offerings change nightly, but there is always a Raw Fish Board to appease the sashimi lovers in the house. There is great service, too.
one of the best overall in the county. great service, servers are knowledgeable, friendly, willing to please your requests and overall just nice. Food is truly amazing, best calamari ever! great desserts and wine menu....go for a romantic dinner or request the mccomas room for a family or friends private get together....did i mention the great view of carmel bay and the 18th hole....great sunset too...a must if you visit or live here!
Arrive about an hour earlier than your dinner reservation and sit on the terrace with a glass of wine. The view of the bay, Carmel Headlands and Pebble Beach's 18th green is worth a million bucks. The service and food is great. Very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff with good wine knowledge. Desert was great too, try the triple berry compote.
