Comfortable like homeby Yahoo | 2008-10-07 17:10:03 |

The staff is friendly and helpful at Greyfriar's. The place is nice but relaxed. Drinking coffee and having a bagel there is like being at home. Plenty of free newspapers. I live downtown and it is my favorite place for casual coffee and conversaation

Great Value!by Yahoo | 2006-02-02 07:24:08 |

Wide range of coffee, expert on-site roaster, and a cozy atmosphere make this late night coffee haunt a personal favorite of mine. I'm there most every single day! Very friendly staff and a dedicated owner have helped this establishment become the success that it is today. Right next to Lupi's Pizza, the best pizza in Chattanooga.

Every once in a while you get really lucky and stumble upon a place that seems to just beg you to sit still and take the time to simply relax and reflect on something other than the daily grind (no pun intended)and the first time I entered Greyfriar's, I knew that I had found such a place. Not to mention the warm and inviting aroma of coffee and pastries that wafts past the nose as you enter the door, anyone visiting will immediately recognize this shop as a place conducive to soft, sanguine conversations that carry on without regard to time or trouble. So, how much does it cost for admittance into this eddy amidst the raging rush of what has become our lives? Not very much at all. My drink of preference in the summer is a mocha frapp -- almost two bucks cheaper than the local st**buck's. BUT WAIT! That's not all! 802.11g wireless is available...for free with no login! Nice huh? See you there.

Best cup of coffee in Chattanooga! awesome breakfast items like fresh baked muffins, oatmeal and Barrista eggs - have tried them all. The service is friendly and efficient. We go here regularly and are never disappointed.
