A charming oasisby Yahoo | 2008-09-15 01:46:27 |

I come to Chattanooga often, but just recently discovered Rembrandt's. My sister took me there for lunch. I enjoyed it so much, I made sure we returned later for coffee and pastry. This will be a regular stop for me from now on.

My Worst Dining Experience in over 20 Yearsby Yahoo | 2008-07-25 02:46:06 |

My only visit to Rembrandt's Coffee House was my worst dining experience in over 20 years. We went for a late lunch at about 2:15 in the afternoon. Place was not very busy when we arrived. The woman at the register seemed unenthused about helping me with my order, but I thought this was just a fluke. My party sat in the fantastic outdoor café seating since it was pleasant out. We talked and enjoyed the Art District atmosphere. As time went on we realized our food, salads and sandwiches, were taking a very long time. After an hour my wife checked and was told our order was “lost” and they would get it out soon. Sometime later, we got tired of waiting and went back to the register to get my money back. I had to wait for a manager to come for the refund. If you go, go for the atmosphere, get a coffee or an already made pastry. Please don’t count on good service

We live in Alabama and drive to Chattanooga for a weekend getaway about every 3 months. The first thing we do when we arrive is drive straight to this incredible little coffee shop that is what a coffee shop should be. The staff is great, the coffee if fantastic, and the treats are to die for! Everything is made fresh and it shows! My entire family loves it!

Amazing.by Yahoo | 2007-04-16 19:57:51 |

I love Rembrandt's. The coffee is great, the chocolate is to die for, and the food is delicious. It's a great place to spend an otherwise mediocre afternoon. Amazing time after time...

Problem with Orderby Yahoo | 2006-12-11 15:44:15 |

I placed an order for coffee from Rembrandt's one week ago. The lady I placed my order with assured me that my order would be process and shipped immediately, and that I would receive my order within a couple of days. I called Rembrandt's to inform them that my order had not been received. After several phone calls with 4 different people, I was informed that my order had been misplaced, along with my billing/shipping information. With identity theft being rampant, who knows where my information is. Obviously, you understand my concern. A manager informed me she would process a new order immediately. However, receiving coffee is not my concern now. My billing/shipping information is!

The best kept secret in Chattanooga!by Yahoo | 2006-08-24 04:34:30 |

You walk in to this little coffee shop in the art district and are greeted by a smiling face. I brought my wife here for breakfast on her birthday. She was drawn away from the breakfast items and straight to the vast array of pastries displayed in the front case. She couldn't decide, so since they weren't expensive, we ordered one of each. We ended up with FIVE pastries and 2 hot chocolates. (Less than $13.Cheap date!) The inside seating is a bit cozy so we went out on the brick patio area which includes a pergola and a water fountain. The birds sang while we enjoyed our pastries on wrought iron cafe table. (Next time we may try the private table tucked away from the others, near the front of the building.) After breakfast we took a walk between the brick buildings and along the bluff and enjoyed the art. The only thing this little cafe lacked to be perfect was some violin music playing on the patio.

Chocolate!by Yahoo | 2005-06-20 05:21:43 |

I loved the cozy outdoor patio area. Especially nice at sunset. And if you are a girl craving chocolate, their "Chocolate Decadance" flour-less cake will cure ANY craving!

Will visit againby Yahoo | 2005-06-04 00:35:50 |

I loved the coffee and dessert selections. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Love the pastries!!!by Yahoo | 2004-12-11 20:38:46 |

The Bluff is a great neighborhood for a coffee shop. This shop fits in perfectly with its good selection of coffees and pastries. Menu items are also a treat. Seating inside the shop is a little difficult. Twice I've had to sit by the kitchen door. Otherwise, good value and a pleasant place to go.
