    10 Years Too Long...by Yahoo | 2008-07-02 03:39:32 |

The last time I visited the Art Institute of Chicago was in 5th grade. I went with my Elementary School from Northwest Indiana. I am now twenty years old and returned to the museum for the first time a few days ago. All I can say is Van Gogh's self portrait is mesmerizing. There is so much aesthetic value in many of the museum's portraits. It's more unbelievable than I can remember. It's free in February so take advantage if you can make a visit. Leaving for school in Charleston I'll truly miss it.

Great displays even if you're not an Art Buff. Impressionist Art on display is second only to the Louvre. Currently building an addition that connects to Millenium Park.
