Alexi's Bar and Grill is a greasy spoon in the nicest sense. The space can be cramped, but the price is right. Try the diner's burger special with fries and the fish strips that come in portions in plenty. The menu is vast and deep-fried, with the BBQ rib tips topping the dinner plate. There is a bar and booth-seating toward the back, vibrant with that old-style Chicago-diner feel. Breakfast can be had as early as 6a.
