    It's classy !by Yahoo | 2008-02-10 19:51:33 |

I like the Chicago Cultural Center because it has two beautiful expensive tiffany domes. It has a wonderful staircase like in "Gone With The Wind." All ceilings and walls are gorgeous. There is live music there at noon. You can purchase a snack and drink too. It is " the people's palace." Oh, and it has an awesome gift shop. Karen

The CCC is the most amazing museum, chamber music venue, and architectural space. It's located right across the street from the new Millennium Park. It's my favorite place in downtown Chicago. I've seen eye-opening art from Ghana and other places which I'd never have gone out to see from the written descriptions, but was of the highest quality. Skip the area devoted to broadcasting. There are free noontime concerts, especially on Mondays. Beautiful mosaics and stained glass in the huge circular stairway. Wander in and check it out!
